BAPHR was founded in July 1977 with a small group of physicians committed to advancing LGBTQ health. We are proud that several of these original founders remain involved today as our Lifetime Members. Their decades of dedication have helped guide BAPHR through critical periods—from the HIV epidemic to ongoing efforts against discrimination in healthcare.
